This free program was written in VB6 and should run on all windows platforms. Although called ” Reactance calculator” it actually does a few other thing as well! Its ideal when designing tuned circuits, and for quickly working out the number of turns required for filling a toroidal dust iron core.
- The Program works out the L and C values needed for a tuned circuit.
- Shows the reactance values at a specific frequency
- Can help design inductors using Amidon Dust Iron toroids.
- Calculates the inductance of a single layer Coil
This all makes building receivers and transmitters much easier.
Note: On Windows 10 you will get a warning whilst attempting to install this software which can be safely ignored.
